HeyTec 1000 / DURACHROM
The enormous increase in the prices of raw materials and long delivery waiting times of supplies has prompted us to develop a new method of spare part repairs and restoration.
This enables us to procure spare parts quickly.
With our patented procedure, HeyTec 1000 und DURACHROM we will repair and restore your valuable stamps and cylinders which in the past have been classified as not repairable. Meaning that repaired and mechanically restored stamps and cylinders will be as efficient as new ones. You will often find that the quality of restored stamps and cylinders often surpasses the quality standards of new ones. This special procedure will give you, as our customer, the benefit of substantial savings in costs of stamps and cylinders.
Engineering process of restoration of rams components
During this process, the defective components of the rams, which in normal circumstances would be obsolete, are stripped and then welded with aluminum bronze. After this restoration process, all the components retain their original dimensions. Additionally, all parts become wear resistant and have a ductile surface.
This surface is completely and absolutely corrosion-resistant.
The thickness of the layer has major advantages even compared to thin electroplated coating.
Our welding process will not alter any dimension of the parts or its components. We ensure that the materials’ temperature never exceeds 200 °C by cooling the interior walls of the tubes. This eliminates the possibility of any structural changes or changes in strain resistance.
The tube’s strain resistance values are identical with the original values and the previous elasticity margin remains intact.
Note:
Please note that we do not include the welded material to the raw material in our safety calculations. Therefore, our calculations are based on the values before the restoration of the welded tubes.
HeyTec 1000
Heytec 1000 is a special patented procedure developed by us.
It enables us to refurbish scrapped or used rams and cylinders at very low costs rendering them almost as good as new ones. With this method, refurbished rams and cylinders will have a higher corrosion resistance level compared to newly manufactured ones. All our products which are coated internally or externally with a protective cover of HeyTec 1000 are continually and thoroughly proven in our testing stations. This allows us to give our customers a complete guaranty (full warranty) on our products.
DURACHROM
DURACHROM is an inexpensive alternative to HeyTec 1000 but it can only be applied as an external coating. The DURACHROM coating has established itself as a very useful utility in the mining industry where extreme working conditions are present.
The DURACHROM external coating has been tested several times by licensing laboratories. This special external coating has been licensed for usage in high salt content waters and in sea waters.
The pit props are then tested according to the approved design model and DIN PN-EN 1804-2:2004 certified.
